Diamond setting for jewellery
Whether you are creating a new piece or considering a change to an existing setting, start with a diamond-setting enquiry. TRENZON can discuss your jewellery design, stone preferences and the assessment needed before a proposal is confirmed.
Start with the jewellery and design
Share clear photographs or a sketch, the metal, measurements and the areas you want set. Say whether the piece is new, already owned or being repaired. Existing metal thickness and construction affect the setting options.
Specify the diamonds
Discuss natural or lab-grown origin, dimensions, colour, clarity and the documentation requested for the proposed stones. If you supply your own stones, confirm whether they can be accepted and how their condition will be recorded.
Review the setting approach
Discuss claw, pavé, channel or other design ideas with the team. The final setting method depends on the piece and stones. Agree the design and any changes to the original jewellery before approving work.
Confirm the project terms
Ask for the scope, stone and metal specification, quote, estimated timing and aftercare in writing. International enquiries are welcome; item acceptance and logistics are confirmed per destination.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use my own diamonds?
Ask the team to assess the stones and confirm acceptance, condition recording, compatibility and the proposed setting before sending them.
Do you offer natural and lab-grown diamond enquiries?
You can discuss either option. The origin and specification of the stones proposed for your actual project must be clearly agreed in the quote.
Is watch diamond setting a separate service?
Yes. Watch cases, bezels and bracelets need a model-specific compatibility assessment. See the diamond watch customisation service for the information to send.
