Watch polishing & refinishing enquiries
Restore the presentation of your watch with a considered polishing or refinishing enquiry. Share photographs of the case, bracelet and clasp with TRENZON so the team can discuss the finish you want and whether the proposed work is suitable.
Show the existing finish
Send photographs in natural light, including the scratches and the edges of the case and bracelet. Tell us whether the watch has been polished before and whether it has a plated, coated or diamond-set surface.
Choose the scope carefully
Polishing can remove material and alter case lines, brushed surfaces, engravings or a vintage watch's character. Ask whether cleaning alone, selective refinishing or leaving a surface untouched would better suit the watch.
Confirm the proposed result
Agree which surfaces will be treated and which original finishes should be retained. Deep dents and scratches may not be removable without changing the shape; the final outcome and any component replacement must be discussed after assessment.
Quote and handover
The quote depends on materials, condition, disassembly and the agreed work. Include your city, country and timing needs. Confirm transport, inspection charges, testing and aftercare before approving polishing.
Frequently asked questions
Can every scratch be polished out?
No result can be promised from a photograph. Scratch depth, case material, coatings and the amount of material that can safely be removed need assessment.
Should a vintage watch be polished?
Discuss originality and the condition of the case first. Polishing can change the shape and finish, so a cleaning-only approach may be preferable for some watches.
How much does watch polishing cost?
TRENZON quotes for the specific watch and agreed surfaces after reviewing the condition. Ask about inspection, disassembly and testing charges before proceeding.
